The Monsters are artificial enemy characters that frequently appear in the Terrain of Magical Expertise RPG. Unlike the series' regular opponents and backer characters, these characters appear throughout the area of the game and can be avoided but can also ambush and attack the players. Their moveset, appearance and elemental alignment are based on the region they resign and some of them have different variations for each region (e.g.; the Roach character has a Telluria City based roach Cyberoach and a Morganite Valley one Cozyroach). The monsters were designed by Zack Frost, with their animation finalized by Chris Niosi.
